Common Sense Institute
Common Sense Institute
At the core of Common Sense Institute’s (CSI) mission is a belief in the power of the free market enterprise system. CSI explores ideas that protect and promote jobs and the economy. Unfortunately, the growing costs of living in Colorado, like housing, makes it harder to attract and regain a thriving Colorado workforce.
The Common Sense Institute is home to the Coors Fellowship on Economic Mobility, a five-year endowment funded by the Adolph Coors Foundation to spur thoughtful dialogue and analyze unintended consequences of wage policies, better understand the self-sufficiency standard gap, and ensure a skilled workforce.
Tamra Ryan serves as the first Coors Fellow on Economic Mobility. Tamra is CEO of Women’s Bean Project, a social enterprise providing employment in its food manufacturing business to women who wish to break the cycle of chronic unemployment and poverty.
